KPMG in the UK

Tim is part of our Corporate Indirect Taxes practice based in London.

His focus revolves around providing indirect tax advice to large multi-nationals and leading on indirect taxes for M&As. He joined KPMG in 2014, having worked for another one of the Big 4 prior to that.

Tim regularly comes across a wide variety of complex issues and has developed the ability to rapidly identify when to combine his own experience with local or issue-specific expertise to offer a solution.

His clients span across a diverse spectrum of industries. They have included banks and commodity traders, brewers, retailers, telecommunications providers, power and utility providers and wholesalers.

A subject matter expert on Missing Trader Intra-Community (MTIC) fraud in particular, Tim has extensive experience advising clients on this complex issue. His past performance in this area includes undertaking a consulting role for a client involved in the largest contra-fraud identified by HMRC. Tim’s practice includes both advising in a reactive capacity, where clients are connected to fraudulent supply chains, as well as in a proactive capacity to help high-risk sectors manage the risk.
