Kashif is a Partner and Head of International Tax for KPMG in the UK, with over 20 years of experience working with global groups on complex international tax issues. 

Kashif originally joined KPMG in 2000 as a qualified Chartered Accountant and spent five years working with a range of clients in the banking and asset management sectors. He then moved into investment banking, working for a number of banks in the City of London over a six year period, responsible for originating, structuring and executing complex investment transactions with other FIs and Corporate clients. 

Kashif returned to KPMG in 2012 to provide primarily corporate groups with international and treasury tax advice, with a focus on the Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) sector.  In addition to leading the International tax practice for KPMG in the UK, he leads the tax relationships with some of the firm’s most significant clients, advising on international and complex tax issues, treasury tax and financing, transfer pricing and M&A.

He has led a wide range of assignments including the restructuring of international groups, the design and implementation of global investment / JV and asset management platforms, design of operating models, resolution of international tax disputes, debt issuance, capital markets and structured derivative transactions, as well as global acquisition and divestment transactions.
