Richard works with a range of challenger banks supporting them through the maze of tax and regulatory issues faced by the sector.

Richard leads KPMG in the UK’s Challenger banking practice, supporting their institutions with advice across a wide range of services including assurance, risk, tax, regulatory issues and the ever-present digital challenges being faced by the sector. He has been very effective at leveraging KPMG's experience with the big banks for the benefit of the challenger banks. 

Richard qualified as a solicitor and is a Chartered Tax Advisor. Prior to KPMG, he worked with two other Big Four firms as well as the city law firm, Simmons & Simmons. Richard is a well-known tax practitioner who excels at making the complex simple, as well as supporting his clients in delivering innovative approaches to address a range of tax issues.
