Meenakshi joined KPMG in 2013. Prior to joining KPMG, she worked with EY in the UK and India. Meenakshi has extensive experience of designing, documenting, implementing and defending transfer pricing models for large multinationals.
Meenakshi has worked on complex business restructuring projects to identify and centralize IP (brand, technology platforms) or to unwind existing structures. Meenakshi has also assisted her clients in defending their transfer pricing models when challenged by tax authorities and in establishing APAs to provide her clients with the certainty they require on their transfer pricing positions.
Meenakshi has worked with clients across industry sectors but has extensive experience of designing and implementing complex transfer pricing models for clients in the technology, media and telecommunications sector.
Meenakshi’s recent projects include: designing transfer pricing policies for an online gaming client who moved their headquarters from a Western European country to the UK including advice on potential exit charges and optimum IP holding structure; designing a charge for use of technology IP using the value chain analysis methodology for a large FTSE 100 media house; designing and implementing a charge for brand and know-how IP owned in an offshore jurisdiction for another FTSE 100 media client.
Meenakshi’s diverse experience includes assisting a large inbound technology group to obtain an APA in the UK for a complex residual profit, and advising on the centralisation of brand management functions to an offshore branch for a famous consumer brand group.
