Anthony joined USARG in April 2007. He is an associate SEC filing reviewer for a number of foreign private issuer clients as well as providing US GAAP and SEC reporting advice to several non-audit clients. He is also consulted on significant issues arising on KPMG SEC registrant clients within Europe and Africa. Anthony has several energy and natural resource clients within Europe and South Africa, including large mining and oil and gas companies.
Anthony also worked in KPMG’s US Audit and Department of Professional Practice based in New York between 2011 and 2013. Anthony’s role was to develop KPMG Audit Methodology assess new US accounting standards, provide US accounting training to US audit teams and clients.
He also provides training on technical US accounting and US regulations for large public entities audited by KPMG and prospective and current clients. He is involved with several advisory projects including IFRS to US GAAP conversions.
Between 2004 and 2007, Anthony was the lead senior audit manager on several US public audit engagements for KPMG US located in Washington DC and surrounding areas.
Between 2000 to 2004, he was both an audit and training manager for KPMG South Africa. Anthony was responsible for managing several audits over various industries including Mining. Anthony was also responsible for training KPMG audit teams in respect of audit methodology and soft skills.
