Director, Infrastructure Government and Healthcare
Richard has over 20 years’ experience transforming complex supply chains to reduce cost and increase resilience. He is currently a Director in our Operations Consulting practice where he leads our procurement and supply chain capability within the Infrastructure Government and Healthcare market.
Richard works with clients to create resilient supply chains, that enable third party goods and services to be procured and supplied efficiently. This involves implementing leading practice digital procurement and supply chain technologies to turn supply chain data into insight, helping to remove risk from the supply chain using advanced analytics to identify supply chain disruption long before it occurs.
He also works with organisations to understand how to use supply chain data and insight to make better sourcing decisions, which leads to lower costs for goods and services.
After working primarily with industrial and manufacturing organisations in his earlier career, over the last 10 years Richard has worked primarily within the transport and infrastructure market, leading numerous large transformation programmes delivering cost reduction and efficiency through the supply chain.
He has recently begun working with clients in the healthcare sector to improve supply chain resilience through implementation of digital supply chain tools in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
