KPMG in the UK

For the last six years, Rachel Hopcroft has been Head of Corporate Affairs at KPMG UK and is a member of KPMG UK’s Executive Committee.

Rachel is responsible for promoting, enhancing and protecting the firm’s reputation with colleagues, clients and communities. Rachel leads KPMG UK’s communications, external affairs, corporate responsibility, ESG corporate reporting, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity and Culture, Wellbeing & Engagement teams. As part of this, she oversees KPMG UK’s relationships with key stakeholders including government, the media, our charitable partners and wider stakeholders.

Before KPMG UK, Rachel was a senior civil servant, latterly working in No.10 and the Cabinet Office as Principal Private Secretary to the Cabinet Secretary. She is a former Chair and patron group member of Access Accountancy, a charity that seeks to widen access to the accounting profession and sits on the advisory council of the Patchwork Foundation.
