Sharon joined KPMG in 1995 as a graduate, spending her formative years in restructuring and consulting practices. She currently leads formal and advisory assignments in distressed corporate and insolvencies. Sharon has focussed extensively on engagements in the public health sector, providing commercial and financial improvement support to a number of health providers and commissioning support units undergoing commercial development.
Sharon’s most recent experience has been to lead a large, complex administration in the consumer finance sector, requiring compliance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidance and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules in addition to insolvency regulations. Sharon has led the establishment and management of the customer contact centre required to deal with inbound and outbound communications, and overseen the electronic communication, voting and claims submission processes using innovative tools.
Sharon has brought her wealth of corporate restructuring and change programme experience to bear to support National Health Service (NHS) trusts, tackle pressing financial and operational challenges. Sharon has a collaborative and open style; engaging with client staff to build trusting relationships where problems can be explored and dealt with.
