Lynne is a Director who leads our personal insolvency team in Scotland.

Lynne has over 20 years in insolvency and leads our team of around 35 people which specialises in advising individuals and their creditors where an individual is experiencing difficulties with debt. These can range from sole traders or partnerships trading small businesses, including hotels, garages, and shops to individuals experiencing problems with consumer credit.

Lynne can advise on all of the statutory debt solutions available to an individual in Scotland who is experiencing problems with their unsecured debts, the debt arrangement scheme, trust deeds and sequestrations.

Lynne is the contract manager on the agency framework agreement in place with Scottish Government to provide contracted Out insolvency services to the accountant in bankruptcy. During the last 10 years our personal insolvency team have administered over 9,000 sequestration cases on behalf of accountant in Bankruptcy under the contract.

As part of the contract, Lynne regularly provides advice on strategic issues and currently sits on the accountant in bankruptcy’s policy and cases committee providing advice on challenging cases and policy issues.

  • Chartered Accountant – Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland

  • Insolvency Practitioner - Licenced to act as an Insolvency Practitioner by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland
