With over 25 years of experience in Financial Services regulation, Fiona has been a Partner with KPMG in the UK since 1999.

Fiona leads KPMG’s EMA Financial Services Regulatory Centre of Excellence, and is a Partner in the UK Financial Risk Management practice.

Prior to joining KPMG, Fiona was Head of Investigations at the FSA (and formerly IMRO) between 1990 and 1999. Whilst at the FSA/IMRO, Fiona led several high profile investigations relating to market abuse, client money and assets, and the misselling of pensions and investment products.

From 2012 to 2016, Fiona was the Independent Reviewer on the largest of the IRHP reviews ordered by the FCA, responsible for reporting to the FCA on the approach to and implementation of the review by a major high street bank.

Fiona also advises firms on all aspects of their regulatory responsibilities and the management of their regulatory relationships. She led KPMG’s response to the FSA’s Treating Customers Fairly initiative and was responsible for leading two of the largest TCF transformation projects in the insurance industry.
