Chris has worked for KPMG since 2004, training in financial services audit before moving to the restructuring team in 2007. He has led numerous bank/corporate advisory and insolvency assignments, undertaken two secondments into bank workout teams and is the London regional lead for the restructuring pensions advisory team.
Chris has extensive experience of leading independent business reviews and employer covenant reviews, across numerous sectors.
Chris also has significant experience of advising various stakeholders, including corporates and pension scheme trustees, in relation to the impact of corporate activity on businesses and/or pension scheme covenants. He has a deep understanding of the pensions regulators’ guidance and has supported numerous clients in relation to scheme funding negotiations.
Chris’s experience includes having day to day responsibility for a multi-disciplinary team that designed and implemented an innovative approach to assessing covenant for banking and insurance institutions. This approach has been referred to by clients as ‘game changing’.
Outside of financial services, Chris has experience across a range of sectors including retail, leisure, real estate, logistics, food and drink, manufacturing, education, public sector and transport.
