Simone is a Director in KPMG’s Dispute Advisory Services team within the Forensic practice. Simone provides advice and expert witness services to clients who need assistance with the quantum aspects of a dispute.

Simone has significant experience, and has been appointed as an expert, in valuing companies and loss of profits in the context of contentious, high value, valuation disputes; on cases where the quantum ranged from US$1 million to US$15 billion. Her engagements have spanned a range of sectors including energy, consumer healthcare, retail and telecommunications. Simone has worked on disputes under the rules of LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL and High Court, amongst others.

Examples of engagements that Simone has led include the quantification of losses arising from: alleged breach of warranties, value in use of land in the context of a planning dispute, allegations of anticompetitive behaviour by a telecommunications operator and a minority shareholding in an upstream oil company.

Prior to joining the Dispute Advisory Services team, she worked in KPMG’s Economics team focusing on regulatory issues in the telecommunications sector such as market definitions, findings of significant market power and proposing remedies such as price controls.
