Peter is KPMG’s Global Head of FS Indirect Tax and has particular specialisms in asset management, global custody, payments and VAT technology.

Peter is responsible for KPMG’s market-leading PX Cube VAT compliance tool and represents the Chartered Institute of Taxation on the HMRC Making Tax Digital Working Group.

Peter has significant in-house experience – most recently as Head of Indirect Tax at the world’s largest custody bank and fund administrator and a top 10 global fund manager. Peter has acted as Tax SME on a number of global finance transformation and cost reduction projects. He also led work on SDRT (Crest Phase II), FTT and BEPS advocacy and has prior hands-on experience of corporate, employment and operational tax issues.

Peter has chaired the VAT Committees of the Investment Association and the Association of Financial Markets in Europe and is a former Vice-Chair of the Finance Leasing Association VAT Committee. He is currently vice-Chair of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Technical Committee.

Peter is a regular speaker at industry conferences on VAT and financial services. He speaks Russian, Polish and French fluently.
