Rafi Cohen

Director, Decarbonisation

KPMG in the UK

Rafi has over ten years of experience in consulting and professional services and has advised a number of the organisations leading on decarbonisation across a range of sectors, including construction, energy and utilities, financial institutions and government.

Additional experiences include developing a £1.5 billion climate foundation’s approach to applying machine learning tools to climate related challenges, leading City of London Corporation’s working group on increasing supply and demand of carbon markets, and building a business using data to facilitate tree-planting in England.

Rafi helps clients to develop and implement their decarbonisation strategies. This involves two main areas of work. The first is around internal decarbonisation -  baselining of emissions, and developing and implementing the process of reducing them. The second is around integrating the impacts of decarbonisation into the organisation’s strategy, taking into account the opportunities and risks arising in the transition to a low carbon economy and from a changing climate.
