Nicholas provides advice to buyers and sellers of banking assets in the UK and across Europe, including whole loans, platform carve outs and non-core disposals.

Nicholas is a banking partner in KPMG’s global Portfolio Solutions Group. Over the past 10 years, Nicholas has worked extensively with UK and European banks on the sell side to develop and implement successful deleveraging strategies for non-core and non-performing loans (including servicing platforms).

On the buy side, Nicholas has experience working with global buyers, including PE funds and banks looking to acquire these banking assets and therefore understands how they approach portfolio strategy, origination, loan portfolio valuations and due diligence.

In addition to the above, Nicholas has provided advisory services related the establishment and operations of internal and external non core division, enhancing NPL workout procedures and strategies (Corporate, SME and retail) and risk weighted asset optimisation.
