James has worked at KPMG Restructuring for more than 12 years in the complex and international restructuring team, working in the UK, US, Japan, Cyprus, Bermuda and the Eastern Caribbean. He advises on all aspects restructuring and insolvency work.

Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups, and being the point person for committees (both creditor committees and lender co-coms). Frequently working as a stakeholder advisor for Banks and bondholders in other jurisdictions.
Company side: James frequently advises on contingency planning and advises distressed corporates on their options.
Creditor compromises: Drafting and promoting schemes to enable the conclusion of complex insolvency engagements, including the implementation of CVAs.
Litigation/Settlement negotiation: Performing analysis of contracts and voluminous material as part of detailed negotiations with counterparties to reach settlements/commutations and as part of arbitrations and/or litigation.
