Ian Beaumont

He is now increasingly focussed on business development and client relationship roles. He leads the firm’s relationship with people and organisations across a number of different industry sectors; working with family owned, entrepreneurial, PE, publicly listed and international groups.  Ian works closely with his clients through all aspects of growth, acquisition, transition between generations and exit either through sale or IPO onto a public market.

Ian is a member of KPMG in the UK’s Northern leadership team and leads our Family Business Advisory team across the North of England.

Ian is the Office Senior Partner in Newcastle for KPMG, leading a talented and multi-disciplinary team of people, serving clients across the corporate and public sectors. He is responsible for maintaining a well-established and successful audit and tax business, supporting and growing a market leading deals practice, and seeking opportunity to continue the development of the firm’s award winning consulting team across the city region, the North East and Cumbria.
