Bernard Brown

Bernard has more than 20 years’ experience as an adviser to public and private sector clients.

His work has spanned business strategy, performance improvement including sales strategy, lean re-engineering, supply chain solutions, streamlining & restructuring organisations, efficiency improvement, procurement and outsourcing. Bernard’s clients have included global blue chip companies and major central government departments and the PE Sector, which include the Ministry of Defence, DWP, NHS, Boots, Lucas Automotive, Massey Ferguson, Caterpiller, Rhone-Poulenc Rohr, Fisons Pharmaceuticals, BMW-Rover, Halfords and Transco. Prior to KPMG Bernard began his career in applied environmental research at the University of Cambridge. He then became a scientist with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). He then moved to Goldman Sachs equity Research and then spent 10 years in the Automotive and Pharmaceutical sectors in a variety of roles. Following the sale of KPMG Consulting in 2002, Bernard became the Global CEO of KPMG-Atos Consulting and returned to KPMG LLP in 2007.
