“The tenure of the CEO has been reducing over the past 10 years and it’s going to reduce further – probably in the three to five year range.

“The individuals who’ll be leading in the future will be very different to the CEOs we've seen in the past. They'll have to have a great sense of purpose and they'll have to be much more focused on society and the impact of their company on society.

“What we're seeing is the demise, and almost the disappearance, of the old fashioned big personality – almost the egotistical CEO – and instead the rise of somebody with different values and different behaviours.”
