Our people are the reason clients come back to us. We’re passionate, determined, hard-working experts. We’re 19,000 people, right around the UK. We’re committed to each other and we’re guided by our Values.
We have different skills, varied backgrounds, and individual ambitions. But we’re united by a common goal – to be the most trusted professional services firm. We want our people to get the most out of their work life – and out of their home life. That’s when we’re at our best.
We want to set you on a rewarding, challenging and varied career path. That means giving you the chance to stretch yourself, to keep learning and ultimately to deliver on your potential. Your continuous development is a priority and we invest in you.
We aim to reward talented people who do great work in the right way. We have a best-in-class total reward package that includes preferential banking and mortgage arrangements, help with student loan repayments and even a day off on your birthday.
We’re proud of our open and inclusive culture, where everyone has a chance to be their best.
We celebrate what makes our people unique. And we want our people to support each other, inspire each other and learn from each other. That’s where our 14 Employee Networks come in.
Our networks give a collective voice to key groups in the firm. They help our people make connections across the firm, from the most senior to the most junior level. And they make our firm a more enjoyable place to work.
Our networks are a fantastic source of energy in the firm, where like-minded people come together, share ideas and drive forward the causes that make us who we are.
We are proud of our firm, our people and our purpose and we will do our best to support you. We believe that creating an environment which recognises the importance of wellbeing allows our employees to work at their best and to provide excellent service to our clients. We focus on four pillars of wellbeing; mental health, preventative health, financial wellbeing and supporting working families. We take our responsibility for your wellbeing very seriously and we want you to share in this commitment.
To support your mental, physical and financial wellbeing we have our BeWell programme. This is a 24/7 confidential support service, which offers information, counselling and practical advice.
Using our remote GP service, you can get free 24/7 GP access and health information on your smartphone or desktop.
We offer private medical insurance (relative to grade), personalised health assessments, core life assurance and a host of other flexible benefits including dental insurance and travel insurance.
We are growing our community around wellbeing and there are lots of ways that you could get involved. We recently conducted our first global World Mental Health Day summit which brought together 5600 colleagues across member firms to open up the discussion about mental health. You could also get involved in one of KPMG’s employee networks, such as Working Families or WorkAbility, KPMG’s employee network for Disability Inclusion to break down barriers to inclusivity at KPMG and enable people with all forms of disabilities to flourish.
The EBF is one of the ways we listen to our people. The forum’s members are elected and represent every grade in the business and region of the UK. The EBF discusses issues important to the firm. It’s the place where leadership shares information and gauges opinion.
Our Shadow Boards are the eyes and ears of the business. They make sure that our people feel valued. They provide constructive feedback to leadership and they help spread good ideas across the firm. There’s a Shadow Board in each of our regional offices. Members are appointed based on their potential, their passion and their expertise.
