Allan Yu

With a master’s degree in Accounting from National Cheng-chi University and over 20 years of experience as an audit partner, Allan Yu is specialized in financial statement audit under IFRS and US GAAP reporting frameworks, initial public offerings in Taiwan and the USA, IFRS and US GAAP conversion, and overseas fundraising/listing projects. His client base covers multinational companies and high tech companies.

Allan holds professional qualifications in Taiwan, China and the US. Before taking on the role of Deputy CEO, he held the positions of Head of Branch Office, Head of Audit, Head of the Department of Professional Practice and Risk Management Partner of KPMG in Taiwan. On the behalf of the firm, Allan is also involved in professional associations, such as Managing Director of the Accounting Committee and the Chairman of the R.O.C. Valuation Standard Board of ARDF.

 

Professional Service Experience

·      Domestic engagement: audit of local public or listed companies in Taiwan. Has involved more 10 high tech companies in their initial public offering in Taiwan and in the US.

·      Multinational engagement: primarily for international accounts from US or Europe, including Amway, Siemens, Impax and Freudenberg, etc.

·      Overseas fund raising / listing projects: assist clients in their overseas fund raising or listing projects, e.g., ECB, GDR or ADR in various foreign stock exchanges.
