KPMG in Taiwan
Tony is intellectual property counsel at KPMG. He has worked in Taiwan and Hong Kong as in-firm and in-house patent specialist in different high tech industries like photovoltaic, bio-tech, display, semiconductor etc.
His intellectual property advisory services include prior art search and analysis, patent brainstorming, drafting, filing and prosecution, design around, intellectual property management and risk control, and formulation of intellectual property strategy. He has reviewed hundreds of proposals related to solar cell, phase change memory, programming method, LCD, E-ink, pharmacy, agriculture, medical device and ceramic package, and filed them for patent applications in US, China, Japan, Taiwan and Europe.
Tony also designs customized intellectual property management system (policy, procedures and forms) for clients and provides IP trainings for every level of client staff. He has assisted companies in managing IP portfolio including patent, trade mark, copy right and trade secret, conducting IP due diligence, and managing IP risk of supply chain and sales through proper implementation of intellectual property management system.
