He has strong and experienced practices in multiple areas, including corporate complacence, major financial and economic cases, real property development, labor disputes, trade secrets, corporate restructuring and equity trading, divorce and matrimonial property consultation, and many other civil or criminal cases.
James Huang has provided many domestic and foreign companies service of legal due diligence and participated in various types of equity transaction. He has participated in a well-known Taiwan e-commerce company equity transaction and provided consultation for the sale of a Taiwan subsidiary of a well-known foreign company and many domestic and foreign JV transaction cases.
James Huang has clerked in Supreme Court and Taiwan High Court, which gave him a thorough understanding of litigation proceedings. The cases he has assisted in defending included a Securities and Exchange Act criminal violation case involving the principal of a well-known securities firm, a criminal case in which a chief financial officer of a listed company violated the securities and exchange act, as well as an Anti-Corruption Act violation case in which he defended for a celebrated construction company manager. In addition, James Huang has also handled many civil and criminal cases of company management disputes or equity disputes.
