Ethan Hsieh joined KPMG in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a financial analyst of the Bank of New York Mellon for one year and as a tax officer on the National Taxation Bureau of Northern Area for more than two years covering the audit of CIT and VAT.

Connected with KPMG international network of tax experts, Ethan has worked on many M&A projects and assisted several tax audit projects of multi-national companies. 

He successfully assisted corporations in various Taiwanese tax authorities’ tax investigation involving complex international tax issues such as transfer pricing, cross-border charges, tax incentive, and net operating loss utilization.

Ethan is extensively involved in M&A cases, including preparing tax due diligence and structuring reports, financial model review, etc.
