Jeff Chen, Chairman of KPMG in Taiwan, has over 20 years of audit and consulting experience in the financial and energy industries. Chen is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Taiwan (R.O.C.) and a Certified Business Valuator granted by Chinese Association of Business and Intangible Assets Valuation (CABIAV), Taiwan (R.O.C.).

Prior to being appointed to the role of Chairman, Chen was the Head of Audit from 2020 to 2021 and the Head of Department of Professional Practice from 2018 to 2019 and a consultant for the Financial Accounting Issues Task Force of Accounting Research and Development Foundation.  During his time as Head of Audit, Chen has propelled various audit quality improvement projects and implemented a new-generation audit workflow and software to enhance the Taiwan firm’s digital audit capacity.

Chen is also a part-time lecturer at National Taiwan University and National Cheng-Chi University.  Chen is concurrently a Board member of Taipei Certified Public Accountants Association.  He has profound competence and experience in the fields of professional accounting, talent management and client service.
