On 9 September 2020, KPMG in Thailand signed an MOU with The Right Partner Consulting Group Co., Ltd. (TRP) to collaborate on providing services in Myanmar. The MOU is a response to the expansion of businesses in Myanmar and the need for trusted and quality assurance services.

“We are excited to announce this collaboration between KPMG in Thailand and The Right Partner Consulting Group Co., Ltd.,” says Charoen Phosamritlert, Chief Executive Officer, KPMG in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. “This MOU is aimed at creating a holistic blend of local expertise with global knowledge and experience in order to provide quality services to businesses in Myanmar. We believe this will be of great benefit to the growth of businesses in Myanmar as well as the economy of the country as a whole.”

As part of the agreement, KPMG will support TRP to provide services to Myanmar and foreign companies and organizations wishing to do business in Myanmar, in accordance with Myanmar laws and regulations, and international standards and practices. KPMG will also provide support in developing the people and expertise for TRP.

The collaboration with KPMG will allow clients to have access to an array of experts in areas such as financial services, healthcare, energy and infrastructure.
