KPMG earns a ‘Leader’ status in independent research firm’s review of business transformation consultancies
9 October 2017 – KPMG International has been recognized as one of the world's top consultancies in “The Forrester Wave™: Business Transformation Consultancies, Q3, 2017.” The report, aimed at informing CIOs and business leaders in selecting the right consulting partner, evaluated the network of member firms' ability to deliver business transformation to their clients.
“KPMG has made the most progress over the last three years of all firms in this Wave,” writes author Marc Cecere, vice president, principal analyst with Forrester in the report. “Historically, KPMG has been thought of as an accounting and tax firm. In recent years, they've added to this base and become a client-focused digital transformation consulting firm, with extensive reusable assets, well-integrated support functions, sophisticated analytics and digital agency capabilities.”
Every industry is currently feeling the impact of new technologies and changing customer demands. “The digital world we now live in is driving the need for more and more complex business wide transformations,” said Lisa Heneghan, Head of Technology, Management Consulting at KPMG in the UK. “We are extremely pleased to be recognized as a leading provider helping our clients to realize their potential in this ever changing environment.”
Commenting on the recognition, Matt Bishop, Partner and Leader for Technology Enablement at KPMG in the US, said, “Clients' needs are evolving rapidly. It is becoming routine to create technology solutions that incorporate robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, SaaS, experience design as well as other emerging technologies. We are delighted that our leadership in this area continues to be recognized, not only by our clients, but also by experts like those at Forrester.”
“Our people’s expertise combined with new innovation and technology in our Audit, Tax and Advisory services, have allowed us to anticipate, innovate and deliver the best decisions that suit each client’s needs. We will continue to expand our capabilities and develop innovative tools to remain one of the world's top consultancies, and more importantly, the Clear Choice for clients and public,” said Winid Silamongkol, Chief Executive Officer, KPMG in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos.
This is the latest in a series of distinctions and accolades for KPMG. In recent weeks, KPMG International attained `Winner's Circle' status in the HfS Blueprint Report on digital technology strategy and consulting. In July, KPMG was recognized as a leader in Digital Transformation Consulting and Systems Integrations Services by IDC MarketScape.
