  • Help lead project team(s) and work alongside other countries to assist clients in executing project tasks across multiple functions (including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) and within the Project Management Office.
  • Apply the Global Integration or Separation methodology to the practical aspects of business operations and the client’s market sector throughout the engagement process to support sound and practical recommendations to clients.
  • Understand and articulate graphically and verbally the sources of value for Synergy, and critically assess client’s assumptions to support the pre-signing process.
  • Help lead a team to plan, develop and execute the integration work plans, identify improvement areas, identify/escalate/resolve integration issues.
  • Proactively identify likely issues that could impact project success and leverage wider KPMG service line support as required, differentiating and enhancing our service offering to clients.
  • Help lead the effort to create concise and high-quality end deliverables, such as due diligence reports, synergy cases, project management tools, client project templates and reports, providing the client with high quality recommendations and project plans.
  • Help lead and manage team members, with the objective to develop them individually and to build the growing team.


  • M&A and/or Restructuring/ Operational Improvement experience advisory/consultancy or industry based operational role, specific industry focus (Banking or insurance space highly preferred).
  • M&A and Project Management Office experience is preferred.
  • Recognized degree from leading international university, with further study (post-graduate study or professional qualification) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the M&A cycle and experienced in asset management.
  • Experience of executing and/or overseeing key integration and separation activities such as Project Management Office support, synergy evaluation, communications planning, operating model development, Finance and HR project planning and execution, Supply Chain planning etc.
  • Experience in developing and delivering articulate client proposals, ensuring that the proposal reflects the client’s true needs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and project and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized with a positive attitude towards challenges.
  • Enthusiasm to lead a team, at times based across multiple geographies, to meet challenging   client objectives and deadlines in a fast paced environment
