KPMG in Slovakia Legal services help our clients to cope with increasingly complex legal and regulatory environment that has a significant impact on their day-to-day business activities and future strategies. Since its establishment it has been providing quality legal services not only to multinational corporations and large corporations, but also to medium and small businesses, including start-ups.
KPMG Law firms network provide legal services in 70 countries around the world. Legal services tailor-made to clients' needs we first offered in Slovakia in 2012.
Clients include individuals and companies active in a wide range of industries - food, agricultural, automotive, electronics, healthcare, financial services, media, real estate and transport. In many cases, clients receive comprehensive advice in cooperation with other departments of KPMG in Slovakia. In cooperation with Tax department, as well as KPMG Expert and Forensic Team, KPMG Legal team provides qualified advice on tax and commercial disputes.

Examples of concrete activities in the past five years:
KPMG Legal has extensive experience in providing services during major real estate transactions. It has participated in several acquisitions of industrial parks and provided comprehensive advice on the rental of industrial property.
In the area of mergers and acquisitions of companies, KPMG Legal has been involved in the realization of several major national and international projects (mainly in the food, transport, real estate, media and industrial sectors). Our Legal team provides our clients with comprehensive transactional advice (from legal due diligence, through negotiation assistance and contract documentation to closing and post-transaction consulting).
Large manufacturing companies and financial institutions use comprehensive advice, particularly in the field of labor law. KPMG Legal has also been providing advice to individual investors and their families in order to protect and manage their personal wealth.
