The newest edition of Startup Ecosystem Survey 2016 follows its successful edition from the year 2014.
The goal was to analyze Slovak startup ecosystem within 5 main groups: startups, investors, corporates, public sector entities and startup spaces (people who actually support the ecosystem).
According to the survey Slovak Startup Ecosystem has significantly strengthened in previous 12 months and there is likely to be more than 30m Eur available to invest in the next 12 months. Interesting founding is that 75% of Startups did not have a female founder/co-founder. Another hot topic among startupers is experience of failure. Almost 60% of our respondents have been involved in a Startup that failed. From financial point of view only 55% Startups generate revenue that is why in the next 12 months startups see priority in sales growth (84%) and product development (75%).
