New IRAS Tax Governance Initiatives

The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore has officially launched 2 new tax governance programs, the Tax Governance Framework (TGF) and Tax Risk Management and Control Framework for Corporate Income Tax (CTRM) on 17 February 2022. These initiatives are in addition to its existing Goods and Services Tax – Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme which was launched in 2011. The objective is to promote the adoption of good tax governance principles and practices among companies, in particular large companies.
