Event Information

In recent years, the demand for data centres has grown exponentially due to the surge in cloud computing, consumer mobile internet and the emergence of new technologies such as 5G.

This digital transformation across businesses in the region is further accelerated by the impact of COVID-19 and increased levels of remote working.

To meet global demand, data centre providers have been building and expanding their fleet in the past few years. Significant capital inflow has been channelled into data centre investments, with private equity firms, sovereign wealth, pension and infrastructure funds, among others, expressing interest in the fast growing sector.

As this asset class continues to gain traction with global investors, KPMG in Singapore and White & Case (Singapore) are pleased to invite you to join us for a Live Webinar on setting up a Data Centre fund from a tax and legal perspective.

This session will cover the following topics:

  • Tax issues to be considered in setting up a Fund that invests into Data Centres;
  • Commonly used fund vehicles and whether the Singapore Variable Capital Company
  • can be considered;
  • Key legal considerations for structuring Data Centres investments; and
  • Recent case studies.

This webinar is complimentary, although early registration is recommended. Please indicate your availability to attend this webinar by clicking on the registration button here.

If you are unable to join, please extend this invitation to other members of your organization. Should you have any queries, please contact Anurag Chaturvedi at achaturvedi1@kpmg.com.sg or +65 9383 2319.
