Reimagining Singapore’s Built Environment

Event Information

In view of the Singapore Government’s vision to encourage the rapid implementation of digitalisation in the Built Environment (BE) sector, the Real Estate Developers Association of Singapore (REDAS) and KPMG in Singapore held a joint webinar to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on their collaboration in the creation of a developer-centric Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) dashboard to re-imagine Singapore’s Built Environment.

The IDD dashboard is expected to extract key relevant data from various digital platforms to allow developers to manage the lifecycle of their project, resulting in the promotion of workflow optimisation and the streamlining of a fragmented ecosystem.

The collaboration enables REDAS and KPMG in Singapore to study the challenges faced by stakeholders in the adoption of digitalisation in the industry via a survey, where the data forms the underlying foundation for the development of key features for the IDD dashboard, and will also be included in a thought leadership publication co-authored between KPMG and REDAS.

Guest-of-Honour, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s office and the Ministry of National Development, Mr Tan Kiat How, presided over the MOU signing ceremony and shared how the Government has partnered the industry to drive digitalisation in the BE sector. This was followed by the sharing of insights from a panel of industry experts on how the BE industry can be transformed through digitalisation and technology.
