Harvey is a Partner, Energy & Natural Resources, telecommunications, Media & Technology, Tax and R&D & Grants consulting with KPMG in Singapore and has more than 20 years of experience in tax–related work, covering tax compliance and consulting work for local and multinational companies and tax policy formulation and implementation. Prior to joining the firm, he was in the Singapore Ministry of Finance, overseeing the formulation of corporate tax and international tax policies, and the approval and development of tax incentives.
At KPMG in Singapore, Harvey assists clients with tax incentive and government grant applications across a wide range of programmes and industries. With his team of engineers across different engineering disciplines, he has successfully helped clients with more than $1 billion of R&D incentive claims.
Harvey also oversees KPMG in Singapore’s Tax Technology and Innovation practice. His team of data analysts, IT professionals and tax specialists leverages innovative technology-enabled solutions to address clients’ issues across the areas of corporate tax, GST, personal tax and transfer pricing.
