Encouraging our people to contribute to the less fortunate in our community
At KPMG, you’ll find a genuine commitment to Corporate Citizenship (CC) which unites our firm, inspires a culture of integrity and strengthens our reputation.
Through KPMG Cares, we continue to twin philanthropy with our work in the community to not only help marginalized individuals and communities, but to also empower them.
Our Give Time program was based, in part, on the views that our employees provided in the 2008 Global People Survey where many gave great feedback on our 'commitment to communities' and welcomed more opportunities to volunteer. Under Give Time, KPMG volunteers are granted up to 40 working hours in a calendar year for time spent on community service.
Another highlight of CC is KPMG's annual Make a Difference Day which was previously known as Community Day. Started in 1999, this day sees the entire firm taking the opportunity to spend a working day with the beneficiaries of the voluntary welfare organizations supported by the firm. Since the inaugural Community Day 8 years ago, more than S$1,000,000 has been raised internally from KPMG management and staff to support our adopted charities.
