Engaging KPMG for both migration and tax advice may involve synergies for your company.

Engaging KPMG for both migration and tax advice may involve synergies for your company.

Many businesses operate in a global environment. The right expertise and/or employee may therefore be found outside Europe. When taking on non-EU staff in Sweden a work permit normally must be applied for. Tax and social security issues also need to be addressed.

KPMG’s clients can have foreign staff in place in Sweden at short notice and with greater flexibility since KPMG is certified by the Migration Board. This means that complete work permit applications are dealt with promptly and that decisions are communicated within 10 business days for first time applications, and 20 days for extensions. The turnaround time for applications without a Trade Union approval is up to 60 business days.
