Mathias Arvidsson has been appointed as CEO of KPMG. Mathias will succeed Patrik Anderbro, who resigns as CEO on 1 January, 2023. Mathias Arvidsson is a KPMG Partner and currently holds the role as Head of Audit Markets.
Mathias Arvidsson has been appointed as the new CEO of KPMG AB. Mathias will succeed Patrik Anderbro who in accordance with the firm’s established succession praxis will resign as CEO on 1 January, 2023.
– I want to give Mathias a warm welcome to his new role as CEO. Mathias has been a part of KPMG for 22 years and has experience from different positions within our company. With his business sense and market drive, Mathias will continue leading KPMG forward in line with our strategy, says Helena Arvidsson Älgne, Chair of the Board.
– It feels fantastic to be given the trust to lead KPMG. After 22 years in the company, I humbly accept the assignment and look forward to continuing the journey that KPMG has embarked upon, with ESG and our digital agenda in focus, says Mathias Arvidsson, CEO-elect of KPMG AB.

Current CEO Patrik Anderbro will remain within KPMG as Partner and Senior advisor.
