KPMG is to acquire Everdon Security, together aiming to create Sweden’s strongest offering in cyber security. Everdon provides senior consulting services and project teams in cyber security, information security and risk management. The acquisition is in line with KPMG’s strategy to grow its advisory business within prioritized areas.
On May 28, 2019 KPMG signed an agreement to acquire Everdon Security, a cyber security company within the Dynamant Group. All of Everdon’s consultants, including its CEO, will thereby become part of KPMG’s advisory business.
“We are experiencing high demand for qualified cyber security services from our clients. Everdon’s service offering complements our Swedish business excellently and is thoroughly in line with KPMG’s global cyber initiatives. We have come to know Everdon as a modern company that shares our values and I am looking forward to building world-class cyber operations together,” says Jan Forsell, head of KPMG’s advisory services in Sweden.
"Together we will continue our exciting journey"
Everdon Security’s main client base is to be found in the financial sector and among state-owned companies and public authorities. Its consultants have sound management and leadership experience, as well as many years of international experience from assignments for the UN, the EU and the Swedish Armed Forces.
“More and more clients require framework agreements and want to choose a supplier with an international network. This deal will allow Everdon to continue to grow with a broader client base, a strong brand and a global network. Together with KPMG we will continue our exciting journey as we contribute to a safer society,” says Per-Olov Humla, CEO of Everdon Security.
