Over the last couple of years, we at KPMG have seen an increased interest in tax transparency – both from stakeholders, investors and in corporate reporting. An active dialogue and understanding of each other’s challenges have never been more relevant for sustainability professionals and tax functions.

Earlier this year, the Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB) published a new standard for sustainability reporting in relation to tax (GRI 207: Tax 2019), within the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework. As you may know, GRI is an international independent organization and the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards (GRI Standards) are the first and most widely adopted global standards for sustainability reporting. Many Swedish multinationals either use, or take guidance from these standards in their sustainability reporting.

We are therefore happy to invite you to a KPMG webinar on October 21st at 11.30-12.30 PM CET, where our experts on tax and sustainability will jointly present and discuss sustainability, tax and the new GRI 207: Tax 2019 standard. The agenda will cover among other things:

‒ Introduction to GRI

‒ Responsible Tax

‒ The new tax standard GRI 207: Tax 2019

‒ Panel with KPMG’s Tax- and Sustainability experts focusing on practical questions related to the new standard

‒ Open Q&A
