Webinar Chemical Tax

Are you a company that sells electronic products or white goods to Swedish consumers? Are you running a digital shopping platform that help Swedish consumers getting their electronic products or white goods from the original seller? Then you should check out our webinar regarding the expansion of the Swedish Chemical Tax.

The Swedish Chemical Tax on electronic products and white goods has been in effect for about 3 years. As of today, B2C sales from abroad is tax exempt. This autumn the tax will expand to also include goods sold by foreign sellers and shopping platforms to Swedish consumers. Those who had businesses in Sweden, but moved to other countries in connection with the original implementation of this tax, may also be affected by this expansion coming this autumn. Read more about the Swedish Chemical Tax here.

The webinar will cover the excise duty and the customs perspective of the expansion of the Chemical Tax on electronic products and white goods. During the webinar, we will go through the current legislation, the changes that will be introduced later this year and the consequences this may have for companies selling electronic products and appliances from abroad to Swedish consumers.
