Ahmad leads the firm’s Digital Transformation & Strategy service in the Kingdom and Levant Cluster. Ahmad has been consulting for over 12 years for several companies and academic institutions on Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation & Strategy, Digital Innovation, Design Thinking, and User Experience. He has also served as Advisor and Mentor for several digital startups in the MENA region. He also founded a machine learning and digital service provider, which develops digital strategies and machine learning products for companies in the US, UK, and MENA regions.
Ahmad is a thought leader and renowned technologist. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and has authored over 60 highly-cited publications in books, international refereed journals and conferences in the fields of telecommunications, machine learning, and biotechnology. He is also an inventor of two US patents in the areas of telecommunications and biotechnology.
Ahmad served as a Professor of Computer Science at the American University of Beirut, where he led several projects in the areas of Telecommunications, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning and Biotechnology.
Ahmad received several prestigious awards such as the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Postdoctoral Fellowship, the Ontario Graduate Scholarship for Science and Technology, and the AUB Merit Scholarship.
