Ismail leads the Government Public Sector practice in KPMG Saudi and Levant with focus on advisory services. With over 18 years of experience in program management, management consulting and transformation, he’s a trusted advisor to numerous senior government officials. He’s successfully participated in designing and leading several influential projects within the framework of Saudi’s Vision 2030 and its realization programs, and has experience with over 30 international, regional and local clients including most government bodies in Saudi Arabia. Earlier in his career, he led with his partners a digital marketing start-up. Before rejoining KPMG in 2014, Ismail held various management positions in leading organizations including Microsoft and Accenture. From consulting to blue-chip execution on the industry side across the MEA region, Ismail’s regional experience is broad and diverse. He actively supports start-ups and adopting multinationals know-how to national organization. Ismail is a London Business School Chairman’s 25 Program Alumni, holds a BS degree (honors) in Engineering Science from KFUPM, and is among the first KSA 100 certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) in good standing since 2005. Ismail is a licensed Management Consultant by the Ministry of Commerce. He is also a member of the KPMG’s board of directors in Saudi Arabia and a member of the KPMG Global Government Board (G7) where he represents the region and participates in shaping KPMG’s global strategy and propositions for Government clients globally.
