KPMG introduces new partners in the CIS

KPMG announces new partner appointments.

The appointment of new Audit, Tax and Legal, Deal Advisory, Consulting, Quality & Risk Management partners.


Nikita Adamov, Partner, Audit, KPMG Urals Regional Center

Nikita graduated from the Urals State University of Economics majoring in Foreign Trade Activity and Law, holds a Russian auditor qualification certificate, is a member of Russian Union of Auditors and is an honorable member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Nikita joined KPMG's Urals Regional Center in 2005, and later, in 2019 became its Head.

His professional experience includes auditing IFRS and RAS financial statements in Russian and international companies; transformation and consolidation of RAS financial statements in line with IFRS.

Nikita audits companies in such sectors as metals, transport, construction, machinery, consumer manufacturing, oil production and oil refining.


Konstantin Aushev, Partner, Technology, Advisory, KPMG in Central Asia

Konstantin graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Higher School of Economics, holds several IT and information security certificates.

He joined KPMG in 2011, before this he used to work in IT-development and IT-testing. Currently Konstantin is the Head of Technology in Central Asia.

Konstantin is a professional in internal control and IT-risk management, BI-solutions and IT-architecture. He is a member of several cross-sectoral engagement teams for digital technologies development, is the author of articles for professional publications in Russia and Kazakhstan.


Almira Bekreneva, Accounting Advisory Services, Consulting, KPMG in Central Asia

Almira is a graduate of the Kazakh-British Technical University and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Almira’s overall professional experience is over 15 years: over 12 years of experience in advising on various issues related to accounting, reporting and automation and 3 years of audit experience for the companies in energy and natural resources sectors.

Almira joined KPMG in 2006. Today she specializes in the development of a methodology of information technologies introduction and in the transition to IFRS.


Oleksandr Boboshko, Partner, Head of Technology, Tax and Legal, KPMG in Ukraine

Oleksandr is a graduate of the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade, is a Master of International Business Law at London University, as well as a master of tax legislation at Law School of New York University.

He joined KPMG in Ukraine in 2004. His previous experience includes work for KPMG in Malta, where he was responsible for advice on international tax structuring during the establishment and operating activities of holding companies, international financial and retail structures.

Oleksandr provided support on tax issues as part of corporate and financial restructuring projects in more than 10 jurisdictions, including Malta, USA, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Italy.

Currently he works on the expansion of services of the International Tax Specialist Group in accordance with international tax tendencies.


Yuriy Galushko, Partner, Financial Risk Management, Consulting, KPMG in the CIS

Yuriy graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University with degree in “Applied Mathematics”. He is a member of the Russian Guild of Actuaries, member of EMEA Subcommittee of International Actuarial Association (IAA), holds a certificate of chief actuary in accordance with the requirements of the Central Bank.

Yuriy joined KPMG in 2018. He has over 18 years of experience in insurance industry. Before joining KPMG Yuriy was the head of actuary division and deputy managing director of life reinsurance in the Moscow office of a major international reinsurer.  Besides, Yuriy has extensive experience in underwriting and actuarial calculations in general insurance and life insurance. Yuriy has significant experience of work in international markets related to the development of insurance products, pricing and provisions.

Currently Yuriy specializes in the projects connected with the introduction of IFRS17 and financial risk management in insurance companies. Under Yuriy’s supervision KPMG’s insurance practice on IFRS17 was established and major contracts with insurance market leaders were signed.


Oleg Zhirnov, Partner, Valuation, Deal Advisory, KPMG in the CIS

Oleg is a graduate of the Samara State Aerospace University named after S.P. Korolev with a degree in “Applied Mathematics” and International Market Institute with a degree in “Finance and Credit”.

His total experience in the financial sector is more than 10 years. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, financial modeling, audit and analysis.

Oleg has participated in business valuation projects for both public and private Russian and international companies in accordance with the International Valuation Standards and Federal Valuation Standards. Oleg has extensive experience of working with major oil&gas and chemical companies in Russia and other CIS countries. 


Stanislav Zingirevich, Partner, Strategy&Integration, Deal Advisory, KPMG in Russia and the CIS

Stanislav graduated with honors from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

In 2010 Stanislav joined KPMG and stood at the origins of creating specialized Integration&Separation practice within Deal Advisory.

Stanislav helps leading Russian companies with operational integration of the businesses they acquire, both in Russia and abroad, including integration roadmap development, assessment of synergies, as well as management of integration projects themselves. Besides, he is developing the support to clients in the creation of joint ventures.

Stanislav’s industry experience includes cooperation with oil&gas, power and FMCG companies. He also has project implementation experience in telecom, consumer and industrial markets.


Dias Kalazhanov, Partner, Deal Advisory, KPMG in Central Asia

Dias is a holder of CFA and MBA of London School of Business. 

He advises clients on M&A transactions, raising debt financing and strategic issues related to investments and capital structure.

Dias has over 12 years of professional experience in corporate finance, investment and corporate banking. He provided transaction support in power, infrastructure, real estate sectors, oil&gas, telecommunications sectors in Kazakhstan and other CIS countries, Great Britain and EU countries. 


Anatoly Kovalenko, Partner, Digital CFO, Consulting, KPMG in the CIS

Anatoly is a graduate of Tomsk State University with a degree in “Finance and Credit”. He is also a certified specialist in project management (PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI).

Anatoly has been working in finance sector since 2007. Before joining KPMG, Anatoly was the head of financial department in a construction holding company and was responsible for cash flow management in one of the largest companies of the Russian electric power sector.

Anatoly’s project experience includes managing more than 15 “full-cycle” projects on optimization of financial and economic function in large companies in Russia and other CIS countries.


Leonid Kozlenko, Partner, Audit, Head of KPMG's Siberia Regional Center

Leonid graduated with honors from Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management, faculty of Finance with a degree in “Finance and Credit”. He is a certified Russian auditor, and also an honorable member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Leonid joined KPMG Novosibirsk office in 2008. Since 2016 he has been the head of Siberian Regional Center being responsible for the development of business relations with major Siberian and Far East companies.

Leonid specializes in providing services related to auditing IFRS and RAS financial statements for large public and private Russian companies operating in high-tech, consumer, transport, industrial production and mining sectors.

Leonid’s experience also includes organizing and conducting training seminars for the clients of KPMG Siberian Regional Center.


Vladimir Lukin, Partner, Operational Risk and Sustainability, Consulting, KPMG in the CIS

Vladimir is a graduate of the Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in “Biology”. Vladimir has also a PhD in Biology (majoring in “Ecology”) and has several professional certificates related to the management of key sustainable development aspects: GHG emissions, environmental protection, energy efficiency, occupational health and safety, green building and more.

Vladimir joined KPMG in 2016. He is an expert in climate change and sustainable development and has over 10 years of practical experience in building and certification of sustainable development management systems. Vladimir specializes in the provision of a wide range of services related to climate change: development of decarbonization strategies, preparation and verification of carbon reporting, climate change risks assessment and management, development and issue of carbon credits.


Olena Makarenko, Partner, Forensic, Consulting, KPMG in Ukraine

Olena graduated from the Hetman Kyiv National Economic University and is also a certified coach and facilitator.

Olena joined KPMG in 2010 after several years of work in strategic and operational consulting in another Ukrainian Big 4 company. She also has more than 10 years of work experience for major Ukrainian banks and other companies.

Since 2020 Olena has been the Head of Forensic at KPMG Ukraine as well as the leader of KPMG Insight Academy. Her forensic experience includes investigation projects, anti-corruption audits, compliance and internal audit maintenance projects.


Maksim Malkov, Partner, Strategy & Operations, Consulting, KPMG in the CIS

Maksim graduated from the University of Twente in Enschede (Netherlands) and from master’s degree program at the State University of Management with a degree in “Marketing”, and also got additional education at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, majoring in “Oil&Gas Basics”. Maksim holds a PhD in Economics.

He joined KPMG in 2011 and before that he also used to work in consulting. Maksim specializes in providing management, strategic and operating advice for oil&gas companies.

He has significant experience of project implementation related to the development of business and operating models: strategy development, development of management models, development of organizational structures, business process description and search of initiatives to reduce company’s capital and operating costs.


Maya Nadezhdina, Partner, QRM, KPMG in the CIS

Maya graduated from Tashkent State University, is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is a certified Russian auditor.

Maya has been with KPMG since 2005 and has significant experience and knowledge in the field of audit quality and risk management, issues of auditing regulation in Russia and the CIS, best intentional practice in organization and maintenance of quality control and monitoring systems in audit firms, audit methodologies and practices. Maya also advises on issues related to other assurance offices.

Maya conducts active external work on auditing regulation and practice in the Russian Federation, is a Chairperson of Auditing Activities Commission of the RF Finance Ministry's Audit Council, is also a member of a permanent task force on International standards for auditing of the Audit Council.


Natalia Nikitenko, Partner, Head of Deal Strategy&Market Research, Deal Advisory, KPMG in the CIS

Natalia graduated from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and holds a PhD in Economics.

Natalia is the Head of Deal Strategy&Market Research Group within Deal Advisory, KPMG in the CIS. Besides, Natalia is the head of group working with pharmaceutical sector within Deal Advisory.  Natalia specializes in the projects related to preparation of investment strategies and analysis of the market entry strategy (including the analysis of exports markets), market analysis and market forecasts as part of preparation for transactions and assessment of the investment appeal, commercial due diligence, including commercial risks analysis of potential acquisitions.

Natalia has over 20 years of experience in consulting and implementation of projects related to M&A support for Russian and foreign companies from various sectors of the economy in Russia and other CIS countries, Great Britain and Germany.


Ekaterina Rogacheva, Partner, Audit, KPMG in the CIS

Ekaterina graduated from Economics Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Faculty of International Relations at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). She holds a master’s degree in Economics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University and in Political Science at MGIMO and Sciences Po (Paris). She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a certified Russian auditor.

Ekaterina joined KPMG in 2002. She has significant experience in auditing various companies in accordance with Russian and international auditing standards and in advisory services on preparing IFRS financial statements.

Ekaterina has significant experience of work with the companies from consumer, trade, construction, chemical, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors.


Vyacheslav Sosnovskiy, Partner, Tax and Legal, KPMG in Central Asia

Vyacheslav is a graduate of the Kazakh National Technical University named after K. I. Satbayev. He is also a Certified Tax Consultant of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Vyacheslav’s professional experience is 25 years, with 15 years spent with KPMG.

Vyacheslav is developing the fields of transfer pricing, indirect taxes, customs regulations, and support services on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

He is a member of the Public Association “Chamber of Tax Consultants of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.


Olga Suprun, Audit Partner, KPMG in the CIS

Olga graduated from Siberian Federal University. She is an honorable member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a Russian auditor qualification certificate.

Olga joined KPMG in 2008. She has experience in conducting audits and preparation of IFRS financial statements for large Russian and international companies.  Olga has experience in advising Russian companies on the transition of their financial statements from RAS to IFRS. She used to manage the audit of a major Russian marketplace during its share offering (NASDAQ). Olga actively participated in a group of companies’ IPOs on the London Stock Exchange and provided support to Russian companies with their IPOs on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as a member of another team.


Ksenia Surkova, Partner, Forensic, Consulting, KPMG in the CIS

Ksenia graduated with honors from the Lomonosov Moscow State University majoring in “International Relations” and holds a certificate of the course in “International Economics and Strategy” of the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).

Ksenia joined KPMG in 2012 and specializes in providing services in two key fields:

  • Market research:
    • comprehensive market research;
    • benchmarking research;
    • identification of best international practices;
    • comprehensive information and analytical support of company’s operations;
    • single requests to collect and analyze market data.
  • Corporate intelligence:
    • counterparty due diligence;
    • new hire background check;
    • identification of signs of affiliation and conflicts of interests;
    • asset tracing.                      

Ksenia coordinated more than 3000 full integrity due diligence investigations of the companies in different countries (including Russia and other CIS countries, EU countries, USA, China, Canada, Brazil and more). Ksenia has over 8 years of experience of participation in clients’ asset tracing projects both in Russia and abroad (CIS countries, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, UAE, USA and more). She also coordinated the implementation of new hire background check projects for the clients from different sectors.  Besides, Ksenia managed the projects related to the research of over 150 markets as part of analysis of different industries in different countries of the world.


Damir Sukhov, Partner, Financing, Deal Advisory, KPMG in the CIS

Damir received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with honors at the Lomonosov Moscow State University and completed his internship at the School of International Commerce Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, Spain.

Before joining KPMG in 2007, Damir had worked at a consulting company specializing in supply chain management where he analyzed business processes and developed KPI systems.

At KPMG he participated in different projects in the sphere of project financing, PPP, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation and financial restructuring. Currently Damir specializes in PPP projects, fund raising, preparation of investment documentation, financial modeling and also is the head of Health Care & Pharmaceuticals at Deal Advisory, KPMG in the CIS.

Damir is a member of RF Ministry of Healthcare’s task force on regulatory and methodological support of PPP development in health care and is also Deputy Chairman of Healthcare Committee of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce.

Damir is a frequent speaker at business events devoted to PPP and is an invited expert at National PPP Development Center.


Natia Tevzadze, Partner, Head of Audit, KPMG in Georgia

Natia graduated from the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University majoring in “International Law”, she is also a member of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Natia has been with KPMG since 2009. Starting as an assistant, she quickly confirmed her skills and motivation for professional growth.  After 8 years of work with KPMG’s major audit clients in Georgia, Natia moved to KPMG London office as part of the secondment program, where she participated in the implementation of projects on the provision of services to major British organizations (FTSE 250).

After her return to Georgia, Natia took up the position of the Head of Audit.


Yuriy Fedoriv, Partner, Head of Restructuring, Consulting, KPMG in Ukraine

Yuriy graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in “Economic Cybernetics”, he also has a master’s degree of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”.

Yuriy joined KPMG in Ukraine in 2016 as the Head of financial restructuring group. He used to work for 12 years in a banking sector prior to this, where he was responsible for corporate sector financing, deal structuring and restructuring.

Yuriy has profound knowledge of international and local tools and opportunities related to the restructuring of corporate debt and work with distressed debt. He actively interacted with legal and financial advisors and other lenders to find optimal solutions for all parties during the restructuring process. Having significant experience in deal structuring and restructuring, Yuriy started developing NPL practice.

In the course of past two years Yuriy has been responsible for FRM section and started developing consulting practice in financial sector. Since 2020 Yuriy has been the leader of industry practice in financial sector and is actively developing the sector for all KPMG practices in Ukraine.


Julia Chumicheva, Partner, Transaction Services Group, Deal Advisory, KPMG in the CIS

Julia graduated with honors from the State University of Management specializing in “Financial Risk Management”.

Julia joined KPMG in 2002 in the Audit Department. Julia has been working in Deal Advisory since 2005 and has vast experience in supporting transactions in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.  Julia managed projects on financial due diligence of potential acquisition objects, as well as on business preparation for sale.  Julia also supported clients with preparation of financial aspects in sale-and-purchase contracts, developing of transaction closing mechanisms and reviewing financial indicators before the closing.

Julia’s industry specialization is consumer sector, technology and innovation and real estate and construction sectors.


Anton Shcherbak, Audit Partner, KPMG in Central Asia

Anton is a certified auditor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), has a degree in “Financial and Bank Management” (American University of Central Asia).

He joined KPMG in 2007. During his time with the company, he provided services on the audit, review engagements and agreed-upon procedures. Anton has experience in auditing sub-soil usage contracts and joint operations agreements, as well as experience of providing related consulting services connected with accounting, as well as experience in applying agreed-upon procedures on checks of securities prospectus. Anton specializes in work with the companies from oil&gas and mining sectors.
