KPMG announces the appointment of new Audit, Advisory, Tax & Legal and Quality and Risk Management partners.
Oksana Borisova, Partner, IT Advisory, Management Consulting, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Oksana graduated from the Tashkent State University.
She joined KPMG in 2013. Oksana has more than 15 years of experience in implementing projects on IT transformation in large corporations, is an expert on IT strategies and technical solutions development. Prior to joining KPMG she led the corporate solutions implementation practice of large solution providers.
Natalia Velichko, Partner, Audit, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Natalia graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University). She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a Russian auditor’s certificate.
Natalia joined KPMG in 2005. She specializes in audit and assistance in preparation of IFRS and RAS financial statements for Russian and foreign companies. She has experience in successful management of major consolidation projects, coordination of major international audit projects involving foreign offices, participation in preparing for the listing process and Eurobond placement. Natalia also participated in a number of advisory projects related to the accounting methodology, including IFRS application and SAP implementation issues, and an overview of the internal control environment. Natalia’s clients include mining, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises.
Andrey Ermolaev, Partner, Dispute Resolution, Tax & Legal, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Andrey graduated from the Law Department of the Moscow State Law Academy and the Finance Department of the State University of Management.
He joined KPMG in 2016 after working for another Big Four firm. Andrey has extensive experience in assisting companies at all stages of tax audits, including representing companies’ interests in the course of tax control measures and preparing objections and appeals. His portfolio includes over 300 successful arbitration hearings. Andrey’s competences also include support in interaction with tax authorities and executive bodies.
Natalia Zhiganova, Partner, Tax and Accounting Services, Tax and Legal, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Natalia graduated from the Moscow State University and the Moscow State Institute of Electronic Technology. She is a certified accountant of the Russian Federation.
Natalia joined KPMG in 2011 after four years of advisory at one of the Big Four firms. Prior to that, she worked as a chief accountant for major international companies.
Natalia specializes in financial outsourcing including services in preparation of tax returns, financial statements, accounting services for companies at various stages of their lifecycle: from startup to full-scale operations.
Natalia has extensive experience in transitional and ongoing stages of managing major accounting and tax projects covering all taxes, financial statements and other compliance requirements.
Natalia was involved in projects on processes engineering, project management, technologies integration and processes improvement for international clients for the purpose of aligning internal and corporate requirements.
Odissey Kirakosyan, Partner, Quality and Risk Management Department, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Odissey graduated from the Moscow Institute of Economics, Politics and Law majoring in Law, he also received additional training in international sanctions and the English contract law.
Odissey joined KPMG in 2006 and has been the company’s General Counsel since 2013. Prior to that, Odissey held law positions in various international and Russian companies. He has extensive experience in economic sanctions, legal support for KPMG in Russia and the CIS, including support in legal proceedings, corporate aspects, intellectual property issues and structuring of transactions.
Oleg Ladnev, Partner, Deal Advisory, Advisory, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Oleg graduated from the Economics Department of M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University, is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
He joined KPMG in Russia in 2002 when he started working in the Energy Group of the Audit Department. In 2007 Oleg joined the M&A Transaction Services Group, and from 2011 to 2013 he worked for KPMG in London.
Oleg has significant experience in financial due diligence as part of M&A transaction services for the buy side and the sell side, advisory in business sales and purchase agreements, support of transactions on joint ventures creation, financial restructuring. His key clients are oil and gas and electric power sector companies.
Aleksey Mednikov, Partner, Major Projects Advisory, Risk Consulting, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Aleksey graduated from the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. He also received professional development training under the programs “Ensuring Construction Safety and Quality. Construction Control Implementation”, “Basics of Project Management according to PMI PMBOK”.
Aleksey joined KPMG in 2015 after leaving a Russian consulting firm where he had led various projects ranging from the construction of civil facilities to the technical audit of complex sites. He was also involved in monitoring the implementation of major infrastructure projects, including the Olympic facilities in preparation for the Sochi 2014. Aleksey has extensive experience in all aspects of investment projects implementation: development, analysis and optimization of capital expenses budgets, technical solutions and processes.
Oksana Olekhova, Partner, Tax and Legal, KPMG in Ukraine
Oksana graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and holds LLM with honors in International Law from London University. She also holds a barrister's license.
Oksana joined KPMG in 2014 and has over 15 years of professional experience in consulting services for international and Ukrainian groups of companies on tax planning, structuring and diagnostics issues. She has participated in engagements for companies in various sectors, including energy, banking, FMCG, industry and agriculture, providing a broad range of tax services tailored to specific sectors to find the most tax efficient solutions, identify and mitigate tax implications.
Alexander Parfilov, Partner, Global Strategy, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Alexander holds an MBA from the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo, mastered the program “Strategic Solutions and Risk Management” at the Stanford School of Business (USA), the program “Innovations and Entrepreneurship” at the Sloan School of Business, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), and holds a specialist’s degree in civil law.
Alexander joined KPMG in 2012. He has experience in advisory projects management in Russia, USA and China. Prior to completing the MBA studies, he held the position of the managing partner at a law firm, led projects on investments, M&A transactions, shareholder conflicts resolution. At present he specializes in growth strategies and corporate strategies, business transformation and increasing its profitability, investment decision-making, improvement of corporate management efficiency. His clients include companies from such sectors as infrastructure and construction, industrial production, digital technologies, healthcare, forest industry, oil and gas, and government bodies and corporations.
Olga Pletneva, Partner, Transfer Pricing, Tax & Legal, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Olga graduated from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics with honors.
Olga joined KPMG in Moscow in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in tax advisory services. Olga specializes in transfer pricing and BEPS projects, as well as tax processes automation, in particular those related to transfer pricing. Olga is involved in projects on preparing transfer pricing documentation for Russian and foreign purposes for major Russian groups of companies, projects on transfer pricing analysis when planning/changing activities, projects on preparing Country-by-Country reports and Master Files. In addition, Olga has participated in developing solutions on automation of the Country-by-Country report and on automation of preparing transfer pricing documentation and notification.
Maxim Filippov, Partner, Deal Advisory, Advisory, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Maxim graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys and holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University (USA).
He joined KPMG in 1997. Then he went on to work in the investment and banking area in leading Russian companies of the sector and in April 2016 he joined the KPMG team again as a member of the M&A Transaction Services Group.
At present Maxim is involved in business development in the segment of M&A transactions among CIS companies. His clients include companies from the energy, telecommunications and consumer sectors, banks, investment and sovereign funds.
Irina Khvorostyan, Partner, Accounting Advisory Services (AAS), Advisory, KPMG in Russia and the CIS
Irina graduated from the State University – Higher School of Economics.
Irina joined KPMG in 2007. Irina has 15 years of experience in advisory related to methodology development and automation of accounting and financial statements preparation in accordance with the national and international standards. Irina has significant experience in managing integrated projects on automation of the finance function on the basis of various platforms. In recent years, she has been leading projects primarily in the financial sector: accounting and financial statements preparation, development of business requirements to bank accounting systems, business processes formalization.
Olivia Allison, Partner, Risk Consulting, Advisory, KPMG in Ukraine
Olivia graduated from the King’s College (London) and Rice University (USA). She is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Olivia Allison heads the Forensic and Risk Consulting teams at KPMG Ukraine, and the Forensic team at KPMG in Kazakhstan. Olivia joined KPMG’s Forensic practice in London in January 2011. She has lived and worked in several CIS countries, leading multinational teams on complex international engagements. Before joining KPMG, Olivia worked as a journalist and researcher, and then worked in international business risk consultancy.
Olivia specializes in compliance and investigations, helping clients to assess and manage risks. In Ukraine and Kazakhstan, she leads teams providing a wide variety of services including internal misconduct investigations, integrity due diligence on counterparties, asset tracing, assessing information security risks, and preparing expert witness reports for use in international litigation and arbitration.
