On 26 April the Russian Regional Branch for Integrated Reporting (RRC) and the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) will submit a draft of the International Integrated Reporting Framework for public consultation. The presentation will be held at KPMG’s Moscow office.
The event will be attended by representatives of the International Integrated Reporting Council, Russian participants of the IIRC’s pilot program (Rosatom, Rosneft, URALSIB, NIAEP), representatives of other major Russian companies, professional services firms, the state authorities and expert community. Participants will discuss the submitted draft standard and the prospects for the development of integrated reporting in Russia.
Integrated reporting is a comparatively new way of presenting corporate reporting. Its key difference from traditional financial reporting is that it provides both financial and non-financial information on a company’s performance, including social, environmental and corporate governance issues, with a focus on the interdependencies of these aspects. An integrated report enables a company to demonstrate its ability to create and maintain value over the short, medium and long term.
