If you have between 1 and 4-5 years' work experience, you may apply for an Executive or Associate position.If you have at least 5 years' experience, you may apply for a Manager position. 

Please bear in mind that the final decision on the position you may be offered will be made following your interviews with a Business Unit.


1. CV screening.

At this stage, we focus on the following aspects:

  • Education at a leading higher education institution and a high average GPA.
  • Work experience at companies with a quality recruitment process and good learning and development programme.
  • Logical career and professional development and career moves.
  • A successful track record.
  • Work experience described in terms of achievements rather than functions.

2. Written Case.

A written case, to be done as homework (remotely).

The case will be sent to you via email in the form of a home task due by the agreed date.

The written case is an opportunity for us to get a better understanding of your grasp of the subject. You will be given some data about a client case and timeline to answer the questions with your solution in PDF slides in Russian. 

We will assess your case taking into account the following criteria:

  • Storyline.
  • Logical presentation and user-friendly navigation between slides.
  • A MECE approach.
  • Good visualisation and appropriate use of graphs.
  • Assumptions and conclusions based on facts.
  • A basic understanding of the industry, based on research from open sources.
  • Appropriate sources of information.
  • Correct grammar and spelling.

3. HR interview.

Please be prepared for the behavioural-based part of the interview: think about situations where you have demonstrated the skill-set required for the position you are applying for.

Be prepared to discuss also your background, experience, motivation, career and professional development rationale and examples of projects you have worked on that are relevant to the Strategy group. 

4. 2-3 case interviews with Strategy group consultants.

During the interview, you will discuss your past experience, activities and do a case study. You will be asked to solve a business case based on a real client engagement. You will need to find an approach to solving the case, think rationally and be logical in your approach. You will also need to be able to perform calculations quickly (without a calculator), as the case may involve numerical data, statistics and other indicators.

As with any challenge, good preparation is essential.

We encourage you to spend as much time as you can preparing for each stage so that you can demonstrate your best qualities.
