KPMG chairs in Moscow Universities
KPMG chairs are aimed at training students for future professional activity in audit, consulting and financial sector.
KPMG chairs prepare students for future financial and economics career.
In the modern era, learning through practical knowledge has become a live issue. A strong ambition of our business is to impart to students the skills necessary for their future professional life.
Over the years, KPMG has been providing various lectures and seminars, trainings and master classes, business games and competitions for students. All of these activities contribute to students’ development as professionals and help improve their interpersonal skills.
KPMG has established its own chairs at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Higher School of Economics, and opened its laboratory at the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University. Our firm closely cooperates with Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute), Moscow State Institute of International Relations and State University of Management, where it regularly holds master classes and organizes short-term educational projects.
KPMG also signed a cooperation agreement with Moscow State Institute of International Relations, after which such training programs as Business Valuation and IFRS along with various master classes and disciplines were included in the annual curriculum of the School of International Economic Relations.
KPMG Chair at Financial University and the International Finance program
KPMG professionals deliver a special International Finance course where the disciplines are based on ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) papers. In March 2011, KPMG has gone a step further by opening its chair at the International Finance Faculty of Financial University. Over the past five years, the chair has seen considerable success: it has become an ACCA accredited fullfledged unit with a graduate status and has developed the International Finance program divided into 9 disciplines.
The students applying for KPMG chair study in English, which is fully conforming to the international standards, write final qualification papers under the supervision of the company's top managers, as well as take on internships in KPMG professional departments.
Optional Disciplines at Financial University
KPMG chair at Financial University also offers various optional disciplines that are open for the faculties of Accounting and Audit, Financial Management, Finance and Credit. Some disciplines are expected to run at the Human Resource Management and Psychology Department. Among other things, the company arranges internships and practical training at KPMG, provides supervisions for students writing the final qualification papers, takes active part in various university events (such as university open days, scientific conferences, round tables) and closely cooperates with Career Management Center and other divisions of the University.
