Tasks and responsibility:

• The expert will work closely with KEs  in support to MAFWM, Plant protection directorate and Border Phyto-sanitary Inspection in order to strengthen the administrative capacities and the procedures on inter and intra-agency cooperation, including the risk analysis, in line with national and EU Integrated Border management Strategy and Action plan.

Requirements:

• University degree academic level in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary and/or Phyto-sanitary, Law, Social sciences, Economics or another related domain or minimum 12 years or professional experience in the relevant field;
• Strong writing and communication skills;
• Computer literacy (command of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
• Excellent oral and written English;
• Excellent reporting skills;
• Knowledge of Serbian language would be an asset;
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field relevant to this assignment;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience related to Agriculture /Food safety / Border Phyto-sanitary Inspection;
• Proven expertise in implementation of the EU Acquis, Chapter 12;
• Experience in development and implementation of similar solutions within governmental organizations would be considered as an asset;
• Experience in drafting guidelines/procedures/legal acts/strategies.
