KPMG in Romania is pleased to announce that it has developed a Center of Excellence to help clients make the most of opportunities deriving from artificial intelligence and data and analytics. The center has recently received accreditation to become part of KPMG’s Global Lighthouse, which coordinates KPMG member firms’ efforts to support clients in this field. The Romanian firm joins several other member firms in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMA) region, which have set up AI and Data and Analytics Centers of Excellence under the Global Lighthouse umbrella.
The aim of KPMG’s Global Lighthouse is to provide a hub of expertise, and to develop common approaches at global level, which will help KPMG clients throughout the world to take full advantage of the rapidly developing opportunities related to artificial intelligence and Data and Analytics.
As Richard Perrin, Partner and Head of Advisory at KPMG in Romania comments: “Already the KPMG Lighthouse concept is making a strong impact across the world, and I’m looking forward to developing it further on the Romanian market. The Global Lighthouse helps clients identify areas of their business where AI and Data and Analytics can bring clear benefits.”
As Adela Ciucioi, Partner, Head of Technology, Media & Telecom adds: “I am very excited about KPMG in Romania’s accreditation to the Global Lighthouse - following efforts and experience accumulated in the field in the last few years and also taking into consideration our plans for future development. The power and functionality available from today’s analytics and AI services can significantly transform organizations’ business processes, putting them in a stronger position for future growth. KPMG professionals are focused on helping clients to be competitive and compliant throughout their digital transformation.”
The Lighthouse Center of Excellence at KPMG in Romania, like in other KPMG member firms, brings together professionals from all three of KPMG’s functions- Audit, Tax and Advisory- who work in coordinated teams with tech professionals to support clients in developing AI and data analytics solutions to help their businesses.
As Ramona Jurubita, Country Managing Partner at KPMG in Romania comments: “It is a great achievement for the Romanian firm to have been accepted as part of Global Lighthouse following a rigorous accreditation process that involved a screening of our current capabilities, current investments and as well of our future development plans. This is a tribute to the skills and dedication of our people, and their strong capabilities to support our clients in taking full advantage of the latest developments in technology. I’m looking forward to hearing a lot of success stories about how our AI and Data and Analytics Center of Excellence is helping the development of Romanian business.”
