Adela Ciucioi, Partner, Audit 

Adela started her career in KPMG in 2001 in the audit department and since then she has been involved in and has led audits for major KPMG clients, including large multinationals as well as local groups mainly in the following industries: industrial manufacturing, retail, infrastructure and services. Adela has also been involved in advisory projects in industries in her area of expertise. 

Adela has become known in the KPMG network and in the local outsourcing industry for leading the KPMG Audit Delivery Academy (ADA). ADA now provides audit outsourcing services to KPMG offices in several countries, as well as accounting support services and global mobility support services. The ADA center is preparing for the further development of its activity through volume growth and service diversification and it is also gradually transforming its business model to incorporate new technologies such as Robotic Process Automation to enhance its processing capabilities.

Nicoleta Mihai, Director, Restructuring, Tax & Legal Services

Nicoleta joined the KPMG Legal team in 2011, at the same time also being involved in the development of the professional organization for specialists in insolvency. Over a career of more than 17 years, Nicoleta has gained relevant experience in business consultancy services, civil and commercial law, as well as in assisting companies in the process of financial and operational restructuring. At KPMG, she has been involved in numerous restructuring cases for companies under insolvency proceedings and worked on many litigation cases, coordinating the legal approach to complex insolvency projects.

Nicoleta joined the KPMG Legal team in 2016 as leader of the specialized litigation team and she will continue to develop KPMG’s business and coordinate the team of highly specialized lawyers, who are experts in business consultancy, litigation as well as in financial and operational restructuring. 

George Dumitrașcu, Director, Deal Advisory Services

With more than 13 years’ experience, of which the last 9 years have been within KPMG, George has been instrumental in positioning KPMG as leader on the Romanian market for M&A advisory services. He has gained valuable experience in advising Romanian entrepreneurs and large multinationals on transactions in various industries. George has also taken the role of coordinator of the local Valuation practice of KPMG in Romania as he has extensive experience in providing valuation services in relation to transactions, financial reporting, transfer pricing and local tax. His track record includes acting for large listed companies and multinational corporations, as well as privately owned firms and start-ups.
